Parents Pupils School - Building a partnership

A successful school relies on the valuable partnership between home and school. At The Shrubbery we encourage close contact between home and school to maintain this partnership. Apart from formal parents' evenings and written progress reports throughout the year, staff are available to discuss any aspect of a child's education or welfare.This can easily be arranged through the school office.

Arts, Music and Leisure - Developing wider interests

Wherever appropriate children enjoy out of school visits to back up their educational programme.

Sport & Games - Exercising the body and mind

As an essential part of a healthy lifestyle, every child is encouraged to take regular exercise. Infants learn early skills of co-ordination and balance using a variety of equipment and through music and creative movement. All Junior classes are time- tabled for physical activity each week, plus additional swimming, team practices and inter-house competitions.
